  12. While reading these messages, I remembered reading about an Australian
  13. ethernet card.. I looked through my Amiga mag back issues and found it:
  14. QuickNet. Here are some infos: (This is about 15 months old though and I have
  15. never seen any of these cards for sale anywhere.)

  18.   - 16bit Ethernet IEEE802.3 Standard - Fujitsu Ethernet Chipset, Optional
  19.     Memory Expansion (with max 2 SIMMs)
  20.   - SIMM Type: Standard 32bit RAM 1 and 4MB SIMMs)
  21.   - Output: Twisted Pair (WD), Cheapnet (BNC)
  22. QN1200 - For A1200
  23.   - Same as above
  24. QN2000 - A2000/3000/4000
  25.   - Same as above, but no RAM option
  26. QN3000+ - A4000
  27.   - Same as above but *32bit* !
  28.   - Also no RAM option

  30. SANA2 drivers for the ports are included. Envoy works. ENLAN doesn't. The Oxxi
  31. Novell-Client software doesn't work, as there is no driver for the QuickNet
  32. yet.

  34. There is also the QuickNet software, which is pretty much the same as Envoy. I
  35. can post more infos if anyone is interested.

  55. I don't know very much about ethernet, so I'm not sure if this system is any
  56. good. And, of course, my info is WAY out of date, so who knows if this thing
  57. still exists.
